22nd OF MARCH – THE WORLD WATER DAY
Today is 22nd of March – The World Water Day. Every year we celebrate this day in a spirit of increasing the awareness of the importance of water. Nurturing water stewardship and ensuring continual water-secure in the world, enables people, cultures, business and nature to prosper, now and in the future.
This year, Pivara Skopje, through a stakeholder-inclusive process, focuses not only on the inside company actions but on community-based actions as well. By this way, together we contribute for collective responses to the complex challenges facing the accessibility to drinking water for all people and water resource sustainability we all rely on.
Today, as part of the activities for marking this day, we provided the fountain in front of our Company to be in use and accessible to everyone. Moreover, in cooperation with the Red Cross and Gazi Baba Municipality, Pivara Skopje donates water for the most vulnerable categories who live in rural areas, with restricted access to safe water.
We stay dedicated to our humanitarian commitment, ensuring water for drinking, sanitation and hygiene as one of the essential resources for life.
