OPEN POSITION: TAX MANAGER

What we are looking for:
- University degree, Faculty of Economics as a minimum (tax, accounting and auditing, financial management)
- Tax-related certificates will be considered an advantage
- Comprehensive and visible tax expertise – minimum of 5 years of relevant tax experience (experience in Big 4 consulting firms or FMCG international companies would be considered an advantage)
- Expertise in local tax regulations
- Knowledge of international tax issues in a multinational environment
- Strong accounting and analytical skills
- Ability to solve problems and make quality decisions
- Excellent communication skills and collaboration
- Visible desire for learning and professional development
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and their successful execution within given deadlines
- Proactivity and openness for cooperation as a team player
- Possession of structural, consistent and effective working methods
- Excellent knowledge of English
Brief description of basic responsibilities:
- Responsible for compliance with tax laws and regulations in all areas of the business
- Management of changes and adjustments according to the legislation
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures with tax rules
- Responsibility for providing the knowledge and expertise of the team
- Collaborate with all sectors internally and providing advices on taxes as a business partner
- Collaboration with tax consultants and proactive management of tax areas
- Improving cooperation with tax authorities
- Continuous tax optimization in parallel with ensuring compliance with tax requirements.
The employment contract is based on a fixed period of 6 months, with a possibility of extending the contract for an indefinite period of time.
The weekly working time for the position is from Monday to Friday, 8 working hours, from 08:00 to 16:00.
The minimum basic gross salary for this job is 90,000 MKD. The amount of the basic gross salary depends on how the candidate meets the requirements of the workplace.
