ENJOYING A REFRESHING GLASS OF BEER AT THE KOLESHINO WATERFALL WITH SKOPSKO SMOOTH AND NO MAN’S LAND
The fourth adventure of the #FreshAs Campaign of SKOPSKO Smooth and No Man’s Land has brought us to the northern slopes of Belasica Mountain – one of the most picturesque waterfalls in the country, the Koleshino Waterfall. The walk to the waterfall was a pure enjoyment on its own, and the final destination gave us time to unwind and enjoy the view. Take a look at the whole adventure:
A poet would say “You’re probably someone’s drop of water too”
A wise man would say “Clear your mind, be shapeless, shape-free – just like water. Then, pour the water in a glass and it will become a glass, pour it in a bottle, and it will become a bottle… Water may run or splatter. Be just like the water”
We have dedicated today’s escape to the water, water from a waterfall, located just above the village of Koleshino, in the foothills of Belasica.
Magical fall ride…
Breathtaking landscapes parade before our eyes, reminding us that the nature has decided to get rid of its burden, stripping and cowering.
However, to us, fall is the time of moments spent together, putting us in an arty picture frame.
Time suddenly stops and waits for us.
We walk on the fallen leaves in the foothills of Belasica.
Rays of sunshine occasionally make their way reminding us that the sun is still out there.Not just now, but this whole time.Sometimes, we are just having a tough time seeing it.Trees hide the good perspective, making the carpet under our feet magical.Here, near Koleshino, we can finally feel the water in the air, although the waterfall itself is still not visible, and once we get near, we can finally hear the fierce rumbling of the water coming down.
We rub our eyes to chase away our sleepiness, we wipe out our camera lenses as if they are sleepy too, on this sleepy fall day.
We have seen the lush beauty of Belasica in summertime, and even the famous Smolare Waterfall… however, this time around, the trail leading to the Koleshino Waterfall timidly announces a completely different encounter. Maybe it is the magical power of the fall… maybe it is the tranquility reigning this late November day; no matter the reason, we all reach a conclusion that this mountain and these places are definitely the ultimate fall destination. And, Koleshino is definitely a secretive and shy sleeping beauty.
The trail reminds us somewhat to a fairytale, as a throwback to our Hansel and Gretel-filled childhood. However, instead of a gingerbread house, we are greeted by a waterfall, which although lacking some of its rebelliousness which is typical to March, still allows us to observe the water and the rock underneath, free of any expectations of its inherent power, and we soon realize that the waterfall, just like life, is not immune to the perpetual transformation.
That sentence of the wise man from the begging of our story comes back to our minds…
“Pour water in a glass and it will become glass, pour it in a bottle, and it will become a bottle…”We happen to carry our SKOPSKO SMOOTH bottles with us… and we dare to add“Pour beer in a glass and it will become a glass, put a beer bottle in the freezing water of the waterfall and you will be rewarded with golden sips of refreshing beauty.”
If every person in the world, as early as their childhood, would be tasked to be active every single day of their lifetime, to take care of a single animal, and to spend time in solitude, contemplating, near a body of water… this world would be a much happier place.
Running like the water means living with internal peace, which is an indisputable proof that our lives have been fulfilled and we would not change them for the world.Everything is just the way it should be.
We are at peace.
