MUSIC SUMMER FESTIVALS IN MACEDONIA YOU HAVE TO VISIT
Despite the extremely high temperatures, Macedonian summers have become known by the organization of extremely good music festivals. There are events for everyone’s taste, for all generations, events that are becoming more attendant every year by Macedonian as well as by foreign visitors.
Summer season is a period of relaxed and long nights, lots of fun and moments for creating memories. Regardless of age, in each period, there are some things which remain constant for creating memories that last – good fun, good company, good music and good beer.

Pivofest
Pivofest is the beer festival with the longest tradition in Macedonia. Through the years, Pivofest has grown into a brand, recognizable as a beer feast. In the period of 13th to 16th of July, town of Prilep and Prilep citizens will be host of one of the largest festivals in Macedonia, and besides the carefully selected music program, visitors will also enjoy a rich offer of food and snacks as a perfect base for beer with friends.
Unique costumes also contribute to the unique impression of the authentic spirit of this festival, as it fits to a beer festival which can challenge many world beer festivals with the visits, content and the positive emotions.
D-Festival
In the period of 14th to 16th of July, Dojran will be party center in Macedonia. The small town with great hospitality this year will be a host of a great party, where visitors can enjoy great music and numerous party contents during the third day program on the very shores of Dojran Lake.
The D-Festival is placed side by side with the world music festivals by its unique concept, which is further highlighted by the two nominations for the best festival in Europe.
For the seventh year in a row D-Festival with its tents will fill the Dojran coast and it will be a 72-hour party center during the day and nights packed with fun and socializing. This year, the rich music program of the Festival foresees more of 40 performers from the Macedonia and the world, divided into 4 stages: Main Stage, Mosquito Stage, Lake Stage and Church Stage. The locations of each of the destinations will be appropriately marked, including the closest places where you can pour your favorite beer that will suits perfectly with the summer temperatures during the day and the music rapture during the night.
Green Beach Festival Ohrid
The end of July will be marked the by most powerful edition of the Green Beach Festival, which this year for the eighth time will fulfill the Ohrid seaside with quality electronic music, led by the electronic music giants SVEN VÄTH and RICHIE HAWTIN.
The festival will be held on the beach Park in Ohrid, and is primarily intended for the younger population, but of course it will attract fans of electronic sound and the neighborhood.
When it comes to Ohrid and summer parties, we always talk about parties until the early hours, so we do advise prudence on the roads and responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages. Of course good fun involves a beer at a bar with friends, but of course consume responsibly.
Strumica Open Festival
Strumica is recognizable by the great events and happenings of cultural-artistic, educational and fun nature. At the beginning of August, the city of Strumica, under the motto “Made with Love” in 10 days, with 20 different events, in 5 open scenes, will once again confirm its ability to organize one of the most talked about events in the country – Strumica Open Festival.
A number of Macedonian performers and DJs will be in charge for the party program, but as well as performers from around the world and the region, whose songs will surely touch the audience.
