Each of us knows that most athletes have different rituals and supervision just before the start of the match, such as keeping a happy gamble during the game, certain gestures and mimics, wearing the same clothes for each game. But what rituals do their fans do when they prepare to watch football, and what beliefs do they have during the competition? There is a study that leads to the following results:
- The most popular ritual refers to the need to watch matches with a certain group of people:
- Believing that a greater number of audience will contribute to victory,
- There are fans who believe that someone’s presence can be a bad luck for the final result.
- The second on the list is the ritual concerning the wearing of certain clothes during the match:
- Monitoring the match in the same shirt, even older than 20 years,
- Changing T-shirts during the semifinals to get easier to a “happier” T-shirt “,
- Turning different pieces of clothing upside down during the game,
- Apart from family members, some fans insist that their pets should be dressed in the colors of their favorite team,

- There are also fans who do not eat or drink while the team plays well.
- Seating in a certain place
- There are fans sitting on their happy chairs in their home during the match,
- Some fans do not leave their place at all and do not make any moves.
- Place items in a certain place
- Leaving three coins on the floor during an important match,
- Place empty beer cans on the table at the same place. If you change their place, it will be a bad luck.
