Her life motto is “Persistence always pays off”. Always and in everything with positive thoughts and tirelessly to the challenges. This year she received the jubilee recognition for three decades of work in Pivara Skopje. “Such acknowledgments are pride and something towards which every Pivarec strives for”, says Jadranka Azhieska, today Call Center operator in Pivara Skopje, who with many emotions reminds herself about the beginnings and the experience acquired through different positions in the company. Jadranka is a wife and a mother of two, already grown up children, who dedicates her weekends to the family, and when she decides to devote time to herself, recreational hiking and mountains are her first choice.

 

  1. Tell us something about your beginnings … Where did you start your career, how did you get employed in Pivara Skopje and how did it progress?

My beginnings in Pivara Skopje were exactly 30 years ago. I started as a worker in the beer packaging sector, a position that allowed me to meet new values ​​at work, responsibility, accuracy, and above all, teamwork. I am happy to share this year I will receive the jubilee recognition for three decades of work in Pivara Skopje. Such awards are pride and something towards which every Pivarec strives. Although my daily work brings different challenges, sometimes positive, sometimes less positive, I truly enjoy in it.

  1. What does your working position include?

Today my position is Call Center operator. Together with my team, we are committed to answer all the questions, demands and needs of our customers, with one single goal, to have satisfied customers and thus increase the sales of our products. Every product sold is our pride and part of the achieved hectoliters 😊.

  1. How much the work makes you happy and gives you a feeling of satisfaction after a hard day?

I am happy to work with colleagues who, above all, are very professional in their work. There is a creative and dynamic atmosphere in our team, without a strict hierarchical split in the relations. We are all part of a large family of Pivarci and we are always guided by the principle of reward, not punishment. It gives us room for easy learning and faster adaptation to changes that are integral to every business. We often organize team building activities that further contribute to an even more qualitative and motivating work environment.

  1. What are the key values and skills that you use daily in order to be successful at work?

Life is a marathon, not a sprint. That’s the way it works, you have to strive for long runs and never rush because it’s just how it is right and it brings long-term results. I believe in goodness, humanity, knowledge, persistence and labor, and these are, above all, the personal values that I apply in everyday work, and which have proven to be productive.

  1. What are your greatest achievements in a career, something that makes you particularly proud?

As my greatest professional achievement, I consider that, for 30 years now, I am part of a successful company, such as Pivara Skopje. Moreover, continuous improvement and personal development are just as great achievements. You know, sometimes you do not have to be in a senior management position to feel realized and fulfilled in what you are doing. For me every new day is better than the previous one, I work honestly, with a lot of love and sincerity. I am happy that I have many more in front of me and I believe that in the future I will successfully grow.

  1. According to you, what is the role of women in improving gender equality in the business environment?

Every woman carries a different story in herself, yet in those stories there is something in common. Women of today are strong and determined and they are a pillar on which everything rests and goes around. I think that women are a driving force in the society, and Pivara Skopje is an example of a company in which gender equality is emphasized as an asset and everyone has equal opportunities for career development.

  1. What is your greatest support in life?

Who else if not the family 😊. My family is my greatest love, foundation and support for everything in my life.

  1. As a woman who has a professional career, how can you make a balance between work and family?

Sometimes we are not aware that the harmony of our being depends on the quality and the desire to organize our time. That for me means, always to have time for both career and private life, as a basic precondition to preserve our health and love as the basis for everything in life. During the working days, I am fully committed to work, but I always spend the weekends with my family.

  1. Do you have a hobby, something that makes you relax after a working day?

After a working day, I practice several hours of walking that helps me to have healthy life and relaxation. Mountaineering is what I need at least once a week, so Vodno it’s often an option for me.

  1. What is your life motto?

My life motto is “Persistence always paid off”. Always and in everything with positive thought and tirelessly to the challenges. I firmly believe that persistency is the key to success in both work and life in general.
