THE 15TH “COCA-COLA ACTIVE ZONE” WAS SET IN MAKEDONSKA KAMENICA
Makedonska Kamenica became part of the big project of Coca-Cola company and Pivara Skopje, the so-called “Coca-Cola Active Zones”, where today, the 15th jubilee zone was set up. In the presence of citizens from all generations, numerous representatives of sports associations and media, the representatives of Pivara Skopje and the Municipality, was officially opened the new place for socializing and recreation for the inhabitants.
“With the opening of the 15th Coca-Cola Active Zone in Makedonska Kamenica, we continue our project for promoting the true social values, for which we, in Pivara Skopje strongly believe that it significantly contributes to the well-being of all citizens, from all social categories. Within the three-year project and through the 15 zones, we created a 1500 m2 area where thousands of citizens can recreate and socialize, we have created a ground where new acquaintances are acquired and the old ones are nurtured, a place for inclusion where the young and the old, and the recreation people and professionals can spend quality time and freely use the benefits these zones offer. That’s why, Pivara Skopje and Coca-Cola copmany, as always, will continue to implement projects of wider social interest and context both for the present and for generations that will come”, said Marija Minincic, manager for corporate communications in Pivara Skopje.
The mayor of the Municipality of Makedonska Kamenica, Ms. Sonja Stamenkova spoke about the benefits and the significance of the new “Coca-Cola Active Zone” for the residents of Makedonska Kamenica, which is free of charge and available for use 24 hours a day.
“Makedonska Kamenica has a long-standing cooperation with Pivara Skopje and the Coca-Cola company, and hence, we are grateful that it is crowned with such a significant project. The pleasure is even greater, because Pivara Skopje and Coca-Cola Company recognized our Municipality as a partner and met the requirements of my fellow citizens for setting up an Active Zone precisely in Makedonska Kamenica, because for us as a municipality it is really important to offer content for citizens who in long run will positively influence the citizens’ culture of living. I am convinced that this place will be one of the most visited places in our municipality and that citizens will take care of it and consciously treat it. ”
The project “Coca-Cola Active Zones” started in 2016 and is part of the global platform of Pivara Skopje and the “Coca-Cola” company. As part of the project, 14 active zones have been donated for the residents of Skopje, Ohrid, Strumica, Tetovo, Prilep, Stip, Kumanovo, Gostivar, Kavadarci, Bitola and Radovis. As part of this platform, in the past years, Pivara Skopje together with the “Coca-Cola” company have realized a number of successful projects, including “Coca-Cola Football Cup” and free bike parks.
