A BIRTHDAY TO REMEMBER: SKOPSKO CELEBRATED ITS BIG “100” WITH LOCAL MUSIC AND A SPECTACULAR DRONE SHOW IN THE CITY PARK

This weekend, Skopje celebrated 100 years of Skopsko! The grand prelude, which lasted all summer and toured through all the major cities in the country, culminated in a spectacular open-air event in Skopje. Smiling faces, visibly joyful visitors from different generations could be seen at every corner of the celebration, as they toasted with their favorite Skopsko beer, creating an incredible birthday atmosphere.

The all-day celebration took center stage in the City Park, and with a specially curated list of performers, the party practically lasted the entire evening. The audience enjoyed the songs of Karolina Gocheva, danced to the music of Strajk and DJ Goce, loudly sang along to the hits of Area and Nokaut, while Vlatko Stefanovski called for the biggest toast ever, shouting in unison, “Cheers, Skopje!” Our artists from the local scene maintained the celebratory atmosphere and kept the audience’s attention for six whole hours, showing that the crowd truly loves their music and associates it with moments of joy and happiness.

The City Park bursted with celebratory energy, illuminated spectacularly from all sides, and the main attraction came a bit later in the evening when the audience had the chance to witness an incredible performance: a synchronized drone show that will be talked about in the city for a long time.

Skopsko, as a brand with a long tradition and a cult status in local culture, once again demonstrated its power to gather and unite tens of thousands of people in one place, creating yet another unique moment that everyone will fondly remember for a long time.

Celebrating the 100th birthday of Skopsko was truly an enjoyment and a confirmation that people here really know how to celebrate, have fun, but also value what is truly important to them.

With the grand birthday party, Skopsko successfully concluded its recent campaign, during which Skopsko received personalized labels for each of the cities in the country. Thus, Skopsko became Bitolsko, Ohridsko, Shtipsko… And that’s because Skopsko is ours and everyone’s, and we are all part of the Skopsko story, which grows richer with each passing day.

Happy birthday, Skopsko. And cheers, to the next 100 years!
