PIVARA SKOPJE AMONG THE 8 FINALISTS WITHIN THE “TRUST IN BUSINESS INITIATIVE”

In a competition of over 30 companies, Pivara Skopje received this recognition, which is awarded within the “Initiative to Increase Trust in Business” which is encouraged by the AmCham network in Europe and the Center for International Private Enterprises (CIPE) in Washington.

The Pivara Skopje project aims to create a sustainable packaging waste management system, which includes organized collection and recycling, as well as to raise public awareness. All this in order to reduce the negative impacts of waste on the environment. Through this project, our company has built partnerships with several key stakeholders, such as civic associations, institutions and the media.

In order for other companies to hear the best examples of how Pivara Skopje and the other finalists apply the ESG criteria (environmental, social and corporate governance) in practice, an on-line event was held. A representative of our company was Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Director, Lambro Patce, who shared more details about the project “Sustainability Initiative: A World Without Waste”, as well as the promotion of business operations in a sustainable way, while building trust and partnership with local communities.
