THE SEVENTH SCHOOL OF YOUNG LEADERS UNDER THE AUSPICES OF PRESIDENT GJORGE IVANOV WAS SUPPORTED BY PIVARA SKOPJE 

The seventh School for Young Leaders have finished, which under the auspices of President Gjorge Ivanov was held in Ohrid from 16 to 26 August. This year in the school participated 45 young people who had the opportunity to learn the skills of leadership of 28 renowned lecturers from prestigious educational and professional institutions from Macedonia, the EU, the US, Australia and Egypt.

The School for young leaders under the auspices of President Ivanov, for the first time was organized in 2010 in order to encourage positive values among young leaders and future political, cultural and economic leaders of our country, but also to develop their capacity to cope with challenges of global technology, international competition and cultural and religious diversity.

The School is intended for young people with a university degree who wish to develop their leadership skills and capacities and contribute to the future positive development of society and the environment in which they live and work.

This year, Pivara Skopje supported the School for Young Leaders recognizing the merits of this project and the great importance of professional upgrading of the youth potential in the country.

Pivara Skopje is a pioneer in the education of young managers. For  almost 19 years, Pivara Skopje has been implementing  the project “Training for Young Managers”, which more than 3800 young people has been through and most of them were unemployed or at the beginning of their careers. This program helped more  than 80% of the participants to find a job, and about 4% of them encouraged them to start their own business. This year Pivara Skopje implemented the program “Skills for Success” which is an extension of the project on education and aims to encourage entrepreneurial potential and to strengthen the knowledge, skills and motivation of the youth as they can easily  find a job.
