In the crowded hall of the Macedonian Philharmonic, the third final presentation of the project called “Hokus pokus, recycling is in focus” was held, which “Pakomak“, together with eco magician Christian Sopov, aimed for children of preschool and school age. A fun magic show in which through the humor, laughter and interaction children learned about the importance of selecting and maintaining a clean environment. “The impossible and mysterious spice with humor always awakens the interest of the audience. There is no one who does not want to smile and see something interesting, inexplicable. Additionally, when you know that you are transmitting an eco-message that should motivate children to select waste and thereby create a cleaner world, satisfaction is even greater, “said eco-magician Christian Shopov, who is also a great ecologist, illusionist and humanist. The play in which children were educated, that the glass should be thrown into the green container, the paper in blue, and the plastic and cans in the yellow container saw over 33,700 children in Skopje from 52 schools and another 17,000 children from 45 schools from 7 cities Macedonia. The project was supported by Pivara Skopje and the Dutch Embassy in Macedonia, Pakomak traditional partners when it comes to ecology. For the same play / Project Pakomak – Packaging and packaging waste management company received a national award for 2018 for socially responsible practices from the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Macedonia.
The project has been remarkably successful and represents a positive experience for children, teachers, parents and for us as an eco-company with a clear eco-vision. It becomes a conversation for an interactive project in which children are involved, asking questions, educating in an immediate and fun way, which they especially liked. That for the PC is a confirmation of what it does, and it is a stake in our children and their family. It is important for children to have highly developed ecological awareness in order to live in a cleaner environment, “said Iko Bredaroski, Customer Care Manager at Pakomak.
Pakomak, Pivara Skopje and the Dutch Embassy intend to continue educating the youngest about the importance of selecting and recycling waste in the next period.
