WITH THE OPENING OF THE “ROSA” SCHOOL IN KUMANOVO THE SECOND CYCLE OF THE PROJECT “ROSA SCHOOLS FOR PARENTS” WAS COMPLETED

The long-term project from Pivara Skopje and The Coca-Cola Company through Rosa, in partnership with the Ministry of Health, finished its second cycle with the opening of the third “Rosa” school for 2019 in the General hospital in Kumanovo.

This school is the sixth one since the start of the project in 2018, after the opening of Rosa schools in Skopje, Bitola, Gostivar, Strumica and Ohrid.

“At the previous openings we have announced that by the end of 2020 three more new ‘Rosa’ schools for parent are planned, which was confirmed also by the recently signed Memorandum of Cooperation with the Ministry of Health. This means we will complete the project with a total of 9 parenting schools, but we do not exclude the possibility that the project will continue after 2020 as well. I believe that this school in Kumanovo, like all others, will work well thanks to its expert and qualified team, which will offer parenting and baby care answers to all interested future parents“, said Katerina Hadzi-Angeleska-Nacevska, Brand Manager for non-alcoholic beverages in Pivara Skopje..

“We are truly pleased that the ‘Rosa Parental Schools’ project is also being implemented in our hospital and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Pivara Skopje and the Ministry of Health for this donation. We have a qualified, professional team of gynecologist-obstetrician, pediatrician and obstetrician nurse who will conduct the workshops and will encourage all future parents from Kumanovo for successful parenting, but will also contribute to safe pregnancy and a balanced way of life after the childbirth and in the period of proper care and nutrition of the child“, said Dr. Snezana Zaharieva, Director of the PHI Kumanovo General Hospital.

The funds for equipping and renovation of the Rosa Parenting School were provided by Pivara Skopje and were collected through a previously conducted campaign in which 1 MK denar was allocated from every sold 1.5 liter Rosa water bottle.

The trainings are free of charge and organized in 5 thematic units. The pregnant women and all interested future parents and members of their families can inform themselves and register for the workshops directly in the General Hospital in Kumanovo.
