PIVARA SKOPJE RECEIVED A RECOGNITION “STATUETTE FOR BIGGEST CORPORATE PARTNER” FROM SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGE
On the occasion of the International Day of Human Solidarity, 20th December, within today’s event “One Family”, SOS Children’s Village awarded Pivara Skopje with the recognition “Statuette for the biggest Corporate partner in 2020″ and expressed great gratitude for the long-term financial support and the various volunteering activities of Pivara Skopje employees and the children and youth. This event, which is traditionally held by SOS Children’s Village, is an annual ceremony of gratitude for the solidarity and support of donors.
“As a company, we are particularly proud of our long-term partnership with SOS Children’s Village. It is an integral part of our continuous support for the community and our socially responsible activities and initiatives in a number of areas to which we remain committed even in pandemic conditions. Within this action, we want to give a personal mark and contribution to improving the quality of life of the people and the community to which we belong. We especially enjoyed the meetings and gatherings with the kids at the SOS Children’s Village with whom we share many beautiful and joyful moments, throughout the year. So far, our volunteers have been part of various activities with children, such as creating awareness for the protection of the environment by planting flowers and eco cleaning actions, a literary matinee to emphasize the importance of reading and learning from an early age, as well as various New Year activities to encourage creativity in children. This year, due to the pandemic, we are organizing a joint on-line New Year’s program for the children of SOS Children’s Village and the children of our employees,” said Goran Sladic, General Manager of Pivara Skopje.

The SOS Children’s Village points that it is especially important to show solidarity and selflessly help the vulnerable categories during a pandemic.
“Working with vulnerable categories also includes activities that should raise awareness of the need for solidarity and the change that the community can achieve with the help of donors, especially with the help of the business community. We are grateful that in conditions of a pandemic we had the opportunity to rely on the support of donor companies such as Pivara Skopje “, said the national director of SOS Children’s Village Macedonia, Juliana Gapo.

SOS Children’s Village is an international organization dedicated to the protection and enforcement of children’s rights with a particular focus on supporting children without parents and parental care and children growing up in families at social risk. The National Association of the organization in the country was established in 2001 and it consists of: a range of programs and projects aimed at promoting the care and support of children and young people without parental care and those at social risk.
