THE COCA-COLA ACTIVE ZONES PROJECT CONTINUES, THIS TIME IN TETOVO
Today, Tetovo has joined the big project called Coca-Cola Active Zones which is being implemented in several municipalities throughout the country. Pivara Skopje and The Coca-Cola Company, in close cooperation with the Municipality of Tetovo, have officially opened the third Coca-Cola Active Zone, which is located in Tetovo’s Sports Center.
All Active Zones have been donated by Pivara Skopje and The Coca-Cola Company with a single objective of providing outdoor zones for recreation and doing sports, equipped with the latest professional fitness equipment and made available 24/7 to all citizens.
“The Coca-Cola Active Zones is the latest in the series of successful projects of Pivara Skopje and The Coca-Cola Company, which have been implemented as a part of our long-term mission of promoting healthy and active lifestyle. During the implementation of this particular project, we have cooperated with “Fun Football Schools Organisation”, and we have been constantly supported by the local authorities. The Coca-Cola Active Zones is a major project with enormous importance in the long run, since its objective is to encourage citizens to be more physically active and to do sports and recreation. So far, we have opened two Active Zones, and we are deeply pleased to be here today, for the opening of the third Coca-Cola Active Zone in the Republic of Macedonia, located in the Municipality of Tetovo. In the course of this summer, we are planning to open Coca-Cola Active Zones in several more cities throughout the country, thus continuing to spread our mission and bringing our idea closer to all citizens”- said Mr. Lambro Patche, Public Affairs and Communications Manager at Pivara Skopje.

This is truly a wonderful project, which will provide all categories of citizens a dedicated space for recreation and doing sports on regular basis”- said Mr. Ahmet Kjazimi, Head of the Sports, Culture and Education Department within the Municipality of Tetovo.
This project is part of Coca-Cola’s global platform focusing on promoting active lifestyle by encouraging citizens to adopt healthy lifestyle habits. This summer, in addition to Skopje, Strumica and Tetovo, Coca-Cola Active Zones will also be opened in Prilep and Ohrid.
