FIRST-EVER ACOUSTIC CONCERT OF THE ROCK BAND “AREA”
SKOPSKO continues to support genuine national values, with a special emphasis on their promotion and popularization. For that purpose, SKOPSKO is proud to announce the concert of Macedonia’s rock band – “Area”.
The concert will take place on 16 April 2010 at the Universal Hall in Skopje. It will be an acoustic experience, as “Area” will perform their hits accompanied by high-class instrumentalists. This is the first-ever acoustic concert of a Macedonian rock group performed in front of greater audience. At the concert, “Area” will perform their greatest hits, as well as songs from the new album.

For some time now, Avalon Production, the band “Area” and SKOPSKO cooperate on projects aimed to support urban national values.
“Artist’s creativeness and zeal cannot be properly materialized in the absence of support from friends, such as SKOPSKO. I can say that Skopsko is invaluable member of our team and hope that our cooperation will continue in future”, said Boban Miloseski, Executive Manager at “Avalon Production”.
This will be the band’s first concert following a seven-year break. Despite holding concerts at packed concert halls throughout the country and the region, this is their first acoustic concert that will create a completely new image of the band.
“The upcoming concert is very important for our band, because it has been almost seven years since we interacted concert-wise with our audience in Skopje, which is a major challenge for any artist. Our cooperation with SKOPSKO has a traditional component and is closely related to our artistic work for years now. The band’s music and SKOPSKO share a particular feature and that is the urban taste of Macedonia”, said Ruzica Miloseska-Brcioska, Area’s Lead Vocalist.
In the months passed and for the purpose of promoting Macedonian art values, SKOPSKO supported the project “Macedonian Heart Beats in 7/8“ and sponsored the concert organization for world music stars in Macedonia, such as last year’s concerts of Carlos Santana and George Benson.
