








PIVARA SKOPJE INVESTED ADDITIONAL 10.7 MILLION EUROS IN PRODUCTION MODERNIZATION AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
In honor of its 100th anniversary, Pivara Skopje, together with its employees, marked the realization of a new investments in modern equipment and cutting edge technology, which enables company’s further modernization and supports its long-term sustainable development.
The latest investments in the modernization of the company, worth 10.7 million euros, are in advanced equipment and technologies that are installed in various operations and processes, including a new line for the production of soft drinks. In this way, Pivara Skopje improves its services towards the customers and increases its production capacities, following the high demand for soft drinks and beer on the domestic, as well as other markets in the region.
“In addition to strengthening our production capacity, these projects helps further advance skills and capabilities of our people in manufacturing, increases our speed and flexibility to follow market trends and enable us to quickly and efficiently meet the needs of our customers and consumers. With their realization we continue the tradition of innovations and investments that are Pivara Skopje’s trademark for 100 years and enter a new, modern era of digitalization and advanced technologies that facilitate our daily work and increase our overall efficiency and productivity,“ said the General Manager of Pivara Skopje, Goran Sladic.
The new investments in the production are according to the highest quality & food safety standards, as well as for occupational health & safety, which is very important for the consumers and the employees of Pivara Skopje. At the same time, they are also in line with our long-term sustainability strategy contributing to: reduction of CO2 emissions, energy efficiency, water stewardship, lightweightening and recyclability of our packaging materials.

Apart from modernization of the production process, significant improvements have been already made in digitalization and automation of other key operations in the company. This includes innovative visual and voice command management technology introduced in the product warehousing, as well as image recognition technology which supports our commercial team on the market place. For the innovative solution that enables online communication, product orders by customers and monitoring their realization in real time 24/7, Pivara Skopje has recently been recognized for implementing the best e-commerce project within the entire Coca-Cola HBC Group. Finally, we have started the introduction of latest generation of robotic technologies for automatization of repetitive operations within the company, facilitating in such a way employees’ workload and increasing their efficiency and productivity.
