OFFICIAL START OF THIS YEAR COCA-COLA CUP
The project Coca-Cola Cup organized by Pivara AD Skopje, Coca-Cola and Open football fun schools continues this year as well. Participants in the football matches will be 1500 boys and girls from 100 primary and secondary schools from 12 municipalities across Macedonia.
For the third year in a row, the goal of Coca-Cola Cup remains unchanged: creating healthy life habits among young people by practicing sport activities fulfilled with entertainment and spending time together.
Ceno Aleksandrovski, representative from the international organization Open football fun schools, partner in this project, regarding the start of the Coca-Cola Cup said:
“Each year the interest among young people is getting higher leading to higher number of schools and municipalities participating in the project. Young people like being active because through the football cup and other sport activities they learn that sport is also fun, way of having a healthy life as well as opportunity to spend time together and nourishing sport spirit. Children’s enthusiasm is a proof that we are on the right way in creating young generations aware that practicing sport activities means a healthy way of living.”
Coca-Cola Cup is an example of good practice for connecting business, civil sector, municipalities and education.
Participants are between 13 to 16 years old, pupils in the primary and secondary schools in municipalities all over Macedonia. The official start of the cup is today and it will end with the semi-finals and finals that will take place on 31 of May in the City Park in Skopje.
