MORE THAN 100 COMPLIMEMTARY “SKILLS FOR SUCCESS” TRAININGS HAVE BEEN CONDUCTED WITHIN THE YOUTH EMPOWERED PLATFORM OF PIVARA SKOPJE

More than 100 complimentary “Skills for Success” trainings have been conducted within the Youth Empowered digital platform of Pivara Skopje. Close to 8,000 individuals, including youth and those from vulnerable demographics, have successfully finished these trainings either at the company’s Educational Center or through online channels. Participants were able to enhance their communication skills, gain expertise in finance and business, refine their capacity in devising development plans and managing projects, learn the art of effective negotiation and sales, and acquire knowledge about time and resource management techniques.

“The substantial interest we’ve garnered in the complimentary “Skills for Success” trainings indicates our alignment with the strategic commitments for sustainable development and community support through the Youth Empowered platform. I’m gratified that approximately 50% of the nearly 8,000 participants who completed the training have secured employment or initiated their entrepreneurial ventures. Through these training initiatives, we’re creating additional opportunities and perspectives for young individuals and those from vulnerable segments, significantly contributing to bolstering their employability and fostering entrepreneurship within the country. As a forward-thinking company, motivated by the encouraging outcomes thus far, we remain dedicated to investing in youth alongside our partners,” stated Dushan Mitrev, the General Manager of Pivara Skopje.

The Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Jovanka Trenchevska, voiced her endorsement for Pivara Skopje’s Youth Empowered platform, emphasizing the significance of socially responsible companies actively assisting young individuals in securing positions within the labor market.

“Pivara, as a socially responsible company, has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to supporting the most vulnerable citizens in the country. Recently, it has become a steadfast collaborator with the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, actively participating in the implementation of initiatives, activities, and concepts aimed at fostering the well-being and mental health of the youth, ultimately enhancing their inclusion in the labor market,” highlighted Trenchevska.

“I am delighted to witness the increasing accessibility of this comprehensive training to a larger cohort of young individuals, enriched with substantial practical knowledge spanning key business domains. This wealth of knowledge and experiences is imparted to our youth by members of Pivara Skopje’s management team, along with prominent figures from the business sector, experts from academic institutions, public entities, and esteemed international organizations. Their involvement in program implementation undoubtedly provides unique value to training participants,” stated Zoran Kostovski from “Motiva,” a business education company deeply engaged in delivering these programs as a long-standing partner of Pivara Skopje.

The “Skills for Success” program constitutes merely a part of the various initiatives conducted by the Educational Center of Pivara Skopje. Established in 1997, the center holds membership in the European Council for Business Education situated in Geneva, Switzerland.
