On the eve of the 100 anniversary, Pivara Skopje opened its first e-shop
Keeping in line with the ever-changing needs and habits of consumers, encouraged by the digitalization and the opportunities provided by online trade, and especially the changes imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, Pivara Skopje opened its first e-shop, which is officially available at e-pivaraskopje.mk as of today.
“Digitalization and innovation in general are high on the development agenda of Pivara Skopje. Some of the processes in our company are already digitalized and we plan to continue this intensively in the future. We have already introduced digital technologies in the segment of product storage, where we use innovative technology for management through voice commands, as well as in the segment of placing products on the market where we have started to use innovative image recognition technology that should facilitate the work of commercialists so that they have more time for the customers. We also started with the introduction of the latest generation of robotic technologies with the help of which we automated all repetitive daily tasks, which we want to increase our overall efficiency and productivity. All of this helps us find out the real needs of our customers and consumers and also gives us the opportunity to stay fast, accessible and flexible to change, especially those triggered by the Covid-19 pandemic,” said the General Manager of Pivara Skopje, Goran Sladic.
One of the segments of digitalization is sales in which Pivara Skopje introduces a significant novelty – the e-shop, which is the first store that the company ever had and which opens in anticipation of the great jubilee – 100 years of the founding of Pivara Skopje.
“With the opening of the e-store we want to enable all consumers to have their favorite drinks delivered directly to their homes, which will certainly contribute to maintaining the high level of satisfaction and trust they have in our brands and in our company. In this e-shop, we offer consumers fast and simple access to all our brands, and the payment for the purchased products is simple and secure, using the most modern system for protection of all payment transactions. For now, the distribution of the purchased products will take place only in Skopje,” explains Milkica Gjerinska, E-commerce Manager at Pivara Skopje.
This novelty in the operation of Pivara Skopje was promoted at the fourth annual conference on e-commerce organized by the E-commerce Association, which brings together a number of leading domestic and world experts and practitioners who present the most significant achievements and innovative solutions in the field of e-commerce, digitalization and digital marketing.
“Pivara Skopje is an example of a company that knows how to use the experience and knowledge of the systems of Coca-Cola HBC and HEINEKEN where it belongs, while effectively adapting them to the specifics of the domestic market and the needs of local consumers. The opening of their e-shop, along with other solutions in the field of digitalization and e-commerce that were presented at the annual e-commerce conference, demonstrates how companies should think, how to adapt to Covid-19 conditions and where to invest in order to be better prepared (READY) and positioned (SET) for the growth of their business (GROW) at a faster pace, which is also the main motto and topic of the conference. We are pleased that Pivara Skopje promoted the opening of their e-shop at the Annual Conference on e-commerce. We hope that their example will be followed by many more companies, which will contribute to increasing the offer in e-commerce,” said the Chairperson of the E-Commerce Association Nina Angelovska, PhD.
Within the Conference, in the session dedicated to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the growth and development of e-commerce, in addition to the new e-shop, the e-commerce manager at Pivara Skopje also presented the other significant projects and achievements of the company in e-commerce, such as the Internet portal that enables online communication, product orders by customers and monitoring them in real time, 24 hours/7 days a week. Acknowledging the results achieved in this area, Pivara Skopje was recently included among the companies with the best implemented e-commerce project within the entire Coca-Cola HBC Group.
