THE FIFTH COCA-COLA ACTIVE ZONE IS OPENED IN PRILEP
Yesterday the fifth “Coca-Cola Active Zone” is opened in the park of the complex “Tomb of the Undefeated in Prilep, Macedonia. With this activity is completed the first cycle of the great project of Skopje Brewery and Coca-Cola Company which took place in several municipalities across the country this summer.
The project “Coca-Cola Active Zones” in cooperation with local government and organization “Open Fun Football Schools” which provides recreational-sports areas outdoors equipped with sophisticated fitness equipment, available 24 hours for all citizens without any compensation. The project is part of a global platform of Coca-Cola to promote active life as the basis for creating healthy lifestyles among citizens.
“With the opening of the fifth core in Prilep we are completing the first cycle of our large and long-term project.
Coca-Cola Active Zone is an initiative of Pivara Skopje and Coca-Cola Company, in cooperation with local governments that have started setting up areas for fitness and recreation outdoors in order to motivate more citizens to practice physical activity. This year we have opened 5 active areas, including this one today at one of the most beautiful cities in Macedonia – Prilep in cooperation wih local governments in 5 municipalities. The project will continue next year and our plan is to expand the active zones into more communities. Healty and good life of all citizens is crucial, therefore Pivara Skopje and Coca-Cola Company will continue with the implementation of projects that promote active lifestyles. ” – said Mr. Lambro Patche, Manager of Public Affairs and communication of Pivara Skopje.
“Prilep has a longstanding cooperation with the Skopje Brewery and Coca-Cola Company and we are truly grateful that this collaboration summits with such important projects. We areparticularly pleased that Pivara Skopje and Coca-Cola Company has recognized our municipality as one of the sportiest active municipalities. In the longterm projects such as this positively affect the culture of living of citizens.
On behalf of all citizens of Prilep thanks to Skopje Brewery and Coca-Cola Company for enabling us to become part of this large project Coca-Cola active zones in the first year, for work together and creating habits of sports and recreation in order to create a generation aware for benefits of an active lifestyle.” – said the Mayor of Prilep, Mr. Marjan Ristevski.
All five Coca-Cola active zones will be available and active throughout the year. Various events with animation of citizens intended to be organized within this project. Despite Prilep this year Coca-Cola active zones are placed in Gazi Baba, Strumica , Tetovo and Ohrid.
