Today, the citizens from Ohrid also got their own “Rosa parenting school”, located in PHI General Hospital Ohrid, where all interested future parents can visit free educational trainings in connection with the parenthood and he care for the newborn, from a professional staff of specialized doctors who will work within the school.

This school is a donation from Pivara Skopje and The Coca-Cola Company through Rosa, in partnership with the Ministry of Health, and the funds for the renovation and equipping the school were raised through a previously conducted campaign in which 1 MK denar was allocated from each sold bottle of Rosa water sold from 1.5 l.

At today’s opening of the Rosa School, the person responsible for the “Rosa” project from Pivara Skopje, Katerina Hadzi-Angeleska-Nacevska, officially handed over the key to the Ohrid General Hospital’s director, by which gesture the school was symbolically opened.

“As we approach the end of this year’s project, I can say with great pleasure that we have had a really successful year and we will close 2019 with three new ‘Rosa’ schools, or a total of six since the beginning of the project. For us, as a socially responsible company, this is an extremely important project, primarily because these are the first schools of this kind in the public sector in the country and we are genuinely pleased that they are of great interest to the citizens. I sincerely believe that through them we succeed in making a positive contribution to the health system in general“, said Katerina Hadzi-Angeleska-Nacevska, Brand Manager for non-alcoholic beverages in Pivara Skopje.

„We are grateful for this donation by Pivara Skopje, but of course to the Ministry of Health as well, because decided that our hospital will also get a ‘Rosa’ school for parents. Within the school, a professional team will work, consisted of gynecologist-obstetrician, pediatrician and an obstetrician nurse, and I believe that we will be able to professionally respond to the needs of all interested pregnant women and future parents. I also invite them to apply for the trainings directly at the General Hospital, as it will provide a great experience for the new parents, but will also encourage them to meet the parenthood with all of its challenges prepared“, said Prim. M-r Slavica Maleska Stojadinovic, Director of PHI General Hospital Ohrid.

So far a total of 4 Rosa schools have been opened on the territory of the country, three of which in 2018 in Bitola, Skopje and Gostivar and one in 2019 in Strumica, and one more is expected to be opened by the end of the year in the General hospital in Kumanovo.
