OHRID SUMMER FESTIVAL DRAWS THE CURTAINS FINISHING THE 55TH EDITION
After 40 days living rich cultural offer, the open stage of Dolni Saraj, with ceremonial fire festival flame the jubilee 55th “Ohrid Summer” was officially closed. The honor to close the festival went to actors from Slovenian National Theatre Drama Ljubljana, with a performance of “Figurae veneris historiae” by Goran Stefanovski, directed by Aleksandar Popovski.
“We had a full auditorium and musical and dramatic events which passed on the festival scene. About 25,000 of thousands of visitors, guests from Serbia, Croatia, Greece, Czech Republic, Albania, France came specially to attend 29 concerts, 13 theater plays and 10 events of the additional program. This year we had an audience of all ages, often had organized tour groups, and of course, for this edition, with us was our loyal audience and longtime partners and friends of the festival, as “Pivara Skopje” said the director of Ohrid summer festival, Elizabetha Jankulovska.
Pivara Skopje in decades is a traditional partner in this unique, extraordinary and admirable story festival, leaving their own special mark on stage where performed the most celebrated names of culture, music and theater.
