COCA-COLA DONATION FOR THE VICTIMS OF THE EARTHQUAKES IN TURKEY AND SYRIA

As we continue to witness the devastating effects of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, the Coca-Cola system decided to take several actions to help the local population that was directly affected by these natural disasters. The following actions have been taken:

∙ Maintaining close contact with the teams in the affected areas;

∙ A humanitarian emergency plan was drawn up together with the local bottling partner;

∙ The Coca-Cola Foundation has pledged to donate $1 million to the Turkish Red Crescent and is working with CARE International to support their efforts in Northern Syria.

Coca-Cola HBC followed up on these efforts with a donation of 100 thousand euros and an open appeal to all employees to donate personally. Additionally, for every amount donated by an employee to one of the relevant organizations, Coca-Cola will match the same amount.

Our thoughts are with all those whose lives were affected by this terrible disaster.
