START OF THE SECOND COCA-COLA FOOTBALL CUP

Healthy habits for young people


This years, Pivara Skopje AD, Coca-Cola and the project “Open fun football schools” are continuing the joint platform “Coca-Cola cup” in which football mathces and other sport activities are organised for primary and high school children. The main goal is to motivate children to actively take part and practice physical activities, to create habits for a healthy life and sport spirit, first of all, trough spending time together and having fun.
More than 1.000 children, boys and girls 13 to 16 years old, from around 90 primary and high schools from 10 municipalities in Macedonia will participate in the cup.The cup starts tomorrow, 27 of April with the first fudball matches in the municipalites and the finals on 2 of June.
Partner of Pivara Skopje AD and Coca-Cola in this project is the International organization “Open fun football schools”.
„Our project should be an example of cooperation between the civil and business sector, education institutions and municipalities, even more because in its core essence are the children and their proper development. The success of this project is in the capability to give children possibility to see football and generally sports as an opportunity for spending time with friends and family, fun, laugh and sharing moments together. We are very pleased because this is a long term project and each year it gains more interest. We are making generations of children who will in future nurture healthy living habits.” said Ceno Aleksandrovski, representative of the International organization “Open fun football schools”. After last years successful Coca-Cola cup in which 700 children from 8 municipalities took part, it is expected that the interest and visit of the matches this year will be even greater.
