SKOPSKO SENDS A MESSAGE FOR RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION AT PIVOFEST 2013

Pivara Skopje enriched its social responsibility platform for communicating with fans of beer, thus supplementing the new visual identity of SKOPSKO which will be presented at this year’s Pivofest in Prilep for the first time
The expanded platform consists of three activities aimed at informing and educating fans of beer on the need for responsible consumption, thus contributing to having festival days in an atmosphere of genuine enjoyment of beer, music and food without incidents, disturbance of public order and peace and endangering traffic safety.
The first activity of this socially responsible platform consists of measuring alcohol level in the body using “Dreger”. Measurements will be performed during all festival evenings by special SKOPSKO promo teams. If the measurement determines higher level of alcohol in the body above the legal limit of 0.5 pro mille, then the visitor will be given a coupon for a fare by the taxi company “De-ni” from Prilep, which can be used from 22 pm to 5 am. All those visitors who will be measured with lower level than the legal will receive an appropriate reward.
The second activity is educational and includes information leaflets that in addition to the message: “Choose only one! Do not drink and drive” also have a QR code that if scanned by a mobile phone, provides direct access to the website of SKOPSKO where there are several specific situations caused by the irresponsible consumption of alcohol, along with tips on how they can be avoided.
The third activity of the platform is a prizewinning quiz. All beer lovers who will answer the question related to responsible consumption, which is located on one of the prizewinning cards that SKOPSKO promo teams will distribute correctly will receive an appropriate reward on the spot.
“The fact is that good beer contributes significantly to good mood, great fun and enjoyment. But, true beer lovers know that quantity and quality do not always go hand in hand. As a responsible company and the leading domestic beer brand, we feel an obligation to help all beer lovers genuinely enjoy this year’s Pivofest through promotion of responsible consumption. Therefore, we decided to use various forms of communication to convey this message,” said Dushko Atanasovski, Trade Marketing Coordinator.
SKOPSKO opens this year’s festival season with a new overall visual identity that will be presented to the lovers of beer at Pivofest for the first time. Starting from its nine-decade existence, the new visual representation of SKOPSKO is a blend of tradition – from which SKOPSKO draws its energy and values – and the modern, which is the foundation for the future of one of the most famous Macedonian brands.
