A PRICELESS ARTIFACT IN OUR COLLECTION
Do you know when Pivara Skopje was founded?
September 02, 1922
On the eve of our great jubilee – 100 years since the founding of Pivara Skopje, thanks to our year-long research together with the Center for Scientific Research and Promotion of Culture – HAEMUS in the archives in Belgrade, Zagreb and Sofia, we found a new facts and new artifacts.
At the same time, the collection of artifacts we collect from the history of Pivara Skopje today has been enriched with two more books, which are of immense importance to our corporate heritage.
The State Archives has given us two books dating back to 1924. One book, “The Diary of Beer Buyer”, testifies to our first buyers who purchased barrels with beer. The books are proof that the first beer production began in August 1924, and the first sale was made in October. In the second book you can see the signatures of the first customers who placed orders, such as the Skupperta family, the Skopje Metropolis, the Officers’ Lodge and many more.
„We are very grateful to the State Archive and the Center for Scientific Research and Promotion of Culture – HAEMUS, for the decision to hand over this artifact to Pivara Skopje. The constant upgrading of our collection of artifacts is of paramount importance to the company’s heritage. I’m glad that such a priceless artifact goes back to where it came from”, said Lambro Patche, director of public relations and communications of Pivara Skopje.
Enriching our collection with these two artifacts is an added value in our customer relationship and will contribute to a more authentic way of conveying our longstanding tradition.
We look forward to many more interesting artifacts, as well as unknown facts, that will further enrich the heritage of Pivara Skopje.
