AT THE 49TH ANNUAL WORLD SELECTION FOR QUALITY “MONDE SELECTION” HELD IN BRUSSELS
SKOPSKO is this year’s winner of the High Quality Trophy and 4 Gold Medals awarded by the International Institute for Quality Selections “Monde Selection”, one of most eminent organizations for testing the quality of beverages and food products in the world.
This year, at the 49th World Quality Selection for beverages and food products, SKOPSKO in glass bottles of 0.5l and 0.33l was awarded the High Quality Trophy and thereby confirmed that the Taste of Macedonia is also among the best in the world.
Competing against a record-breaking 2,000 products from 83 countries world-wide, SKOPSKO was the only beer from the broader region that was honored with this recognition for quality.
The Trophy is awarded to products that maintain the highest level of quality and that are awardees of Gold Quality Medals at Monde Selection for the last three consecutive years.

In addition to being awarded the High Quality Trophy, this year SKOPSKO won 4 Gold Quality Medals as well.
The International Institute for Quality Selections “Monde Selection” seated in Brussels, Belgium is an independent organization for testing the quality of soft and alcohol beverages and food products. It was founded in 1961 and is recognized by the EU. Testing of product quality is performed by top-notch professionals on the basis of rigid criteria for quality control, modern production technology and preventive sanitation in all production levels. Coded product samples are individually tasted by jury members who assess them independently. Scores are then added up and averaged to a final result, followed by the decision on awarding the title “high quality in the world” to the highest-scoring product.
SKOPSКO was awarded its first quality medal at Monde Selection in 1978. Up to present, Pivara Skopje AD’s headquarter homes nearly 200 medals, trophies and other high international recognitions that testify to the continuous superb quality of SKOPSKO and other products from its portfolio.
