SKOPSKO APPEALS: CONSUME RESPONSIBLY AND DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE!
During the Strumica Carnival 2013
Remaining faithful to the tradition, always part of excellent fun, also this year SKOPSKO is part of the spectacular fiesta under masks that takes place from 14th to 20th March in Strumica.
Apart from being a companion to the thousands of visitors from the country and abroad, enjoying the atmosphere made by numerous masked faces – participants in the main carnival night, that took place on Saturday, 16th March, as well as in the carnival party that went on long into the night in the cafes and discotheques in the central city area of Strumica, SKOPSKO remained consistent promoter of the permanent company commitment of Pivara Skopje AD for socially responsible action in all segments.
Namely, in accordance with its socially responsible platform, which integrates the messages: Don’t drink and drive and Consume responsibly, during the carnival party, special SKOPSKO teams visited the busiest hospitality establishments where by random selection and on voluntary basis, they made a series of tests of the quantities of alcohol consumed by the guests. The individuals to whom the fast test indicated higher content of alcohol than the legally permitted, received coupons for taxi transportation, while those whose alcohol content measured by the test showed moderate alcohol consumption were awarded with appropriate SKOPSKO T-shirts.
In this way, SKOPSKO once again showed that beer is an excellent drink for enjoyment and good party, but only if consumed responsibly, calling all its fans to take care about their own and the safety of others by not driving if they end up consuming a glass or two more.
