PIVARA SKOPJE CONFIRMS ITS SUSTAINABLE AND RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS MODEL

With great commitment, this year too, Pivara Skopje joined the marking of Global Beer Responsibility Day – 16 September. The initiative for this day that globally highlights the efforts and continuous activities to promote responsible drinking, was launched by the three largest beer producers, among which Heineken Group, which includes Pivara Skopje.

In anticipation of this year’s Global Beer Responsibility Day, Pivara Skopje intensified the communication and activities related to responsible drinking that are continuously conducted during the year. Messages and advice on responsible consumption are part of all beer festivals, popular concerts and other events that Pivara Skopje supports throughout the year and during which its beer brands are represented, and they are also an inevitable part of the direct communication with consumers via all communication channels, including the most popular social networks.

In spreading the culture of responsible consumption, this year Pivara Skopje, in addition to all its employees, associates and partners, included many successful public figures who serve as an example for other citizens, especially young people, with their conduct and personal messages. This group of Ambassadors of responsible drinking of Pivara Skopje among others also includes a large number of athletes, such as the members of the Macedonian national handball team, but also lovers of motorscycles and the motorcycle culture, as well as race car aces who talking about own travel experiences and participation in the most renowned world race tracks recommends that alcohol and driving never go hand in hand. Pivara Skopje actively and continuously collaborates with all relevant institutions and NGOs in the realization of the activities part of the process of spreading the culture of responsible consumption.

Excessive drinking does not mean success for our business and does not contribute to the sustainable growth of society as a whole. We have been developing and upgrading our campaign for responsible consumption of beer in order to raise awareness about responsible drinking and reduce the harmful use of alchohol. We believe that as the largest producer of beer in the country we have a long-term commitment to spread the culture of responsible consumption and embed and live with the values of responsible drinking as part of our everyday lives in the community that we belong to,” said the General Manager of Pivara Skopje Jovan Radosavljevic.

Breweries from 76 countries around the world partner in this year’s Global Beer Responsibility Day and along with a number of institutions and professional associations, civil society organizations, retail chains and public figures actively communicate messages about responsible consumption with over 200 million consumers.
