SECOND YEAR IN A ROW THE EDUCATION CENTER OF PIVARA SKOPJE CONDUCTS THE FREE TRAINING FOR THE YOUTH “SKILLS FOR SUCCESS”
Since last year Pivara Skopje, the Employment Agency and the business education company “Motiva” signed a contract for realization of the free training “Skills for success” for acquiring knowledge and skills that will help young unemployed people to overcome the obstacles during employment more easily or to encourage them to start their own business, more than 350 young people in five trainings have passed through the educational center of Pivara Skopje. The participant satisfaction index from the training is more 96% while so far, only from the first three trainings, more than 60 participants managed to find job.
The goal of this project is above all, opening new perspectives for young people, increasing the employment and further development of the entrepreneurial culture through motivation, encouragement and empowerment of the young potential in the country and is a project that fits well into the measures and efforts of the competent state institutions and Government for further reduction of unemployment, especially among young people.
The total costs for the realization of the training is covered by Pivara Skopje and the training is completely free for all participants.
This training is in fact an extension of the long-term program for youth development which is being realized in the Educational Centre of Pivara Skopje since 1997.
In the past 20 years, the program of the Educational Center of Pivara Skopje was attended by more than 3800 young people, many of whom were unemployed or at the beginning of their career. This program helped more that 80% of the participants to find a job, and encouraged about 4% of them to start their own business. For its evident results and its social contribution, the Educational Centre of Pivara Skopje received the National Award for Socially Responsible Practices for 2011, in the category Investing in the Community. The Center is a member of the European Council for Business Education based in Geneva, Switzerland.
“Skills for success” is a long-term project and by the end of 2017 there will be several more trainings.
