





























ANOTHER PIVARA SKOPJE EMPLOYEE VOLUNTEERING ACTION IN SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGE






























During the New Year’s holiday magic of sharing joy and happiness with the loved ones, the women employees in Pivara Skopje paid another visit of the SOS Children’s Village. At the joint gathering, the children from SOS Children’s Village and the volunteers from Pivara Skopje in a warmhearted and cheerful atmosphere were making traditional New Year’s cookies. This is the second Pivara Skopje female employees volunteer action in the SOS Children’s Village this year, after the one organized on the eve of 8 March – International Women’s Day.
“It’s wonderful that we have the opportunity in this way, in a great mood, to get ready for the upcoming holidays. The time spent with volunteers from Pivara Skopje always brings joy and warmth to the children and makes us happy. The joint making of traditional New Year’s cookies is a really great way to mark this period of the year,” said Julijana Gapo, National Director of SOS Children’s Village Macedonia, expressing her appreciation to Pivara Skopje for the financial support provided.
Over the past year, the employees in Pivara Skopje including the members of the management team, realized above 1000 volunteer hours, which clearly indicates that volunteering is an essential part of the corporate culture of the company.
“We are proud and satisfied that as a company we continued the financial assistance and cooperation with the SOS Children’s Village this year as well. Simultaneously, we are continuing the volunteering actions that allow us to provide individual contribution in upgrading the quality of the life in the community. We are especially happy when we are socializing with the children in SOS Children’s Village, and the women employed in Pivara Skopje have once again proved that that in addition to diligence, solidarity and empathy are part of their personal code of values. As a company, in the domain of corporate social responsibility, in the year that is coming to its end we have achieved remarkable results and I believe that creating strong partnerships with the community and implementation of activities of this kind will continue in the coming year” said Lambro Patche, Public Relations and Communications Manager in Pivara Skopje.

SOS Children’s Village is an international organization dedicated to the protection and application of children’s rights, with a special focus on supporting children without parents and parental care and children who grow up in families at social risk. The organization in Macedonia was founded in 2002 and within its framework are: SOS Children’s Village, SOS Youth Community and SOS Program for semi-independent living.
