SKOPSKO AND GALICNIK WEDDING – BLEND OF TWO AUTHENTIC STORIES AND TRADITIONS

Galicnik wedding guests and the visitors of the unique cultural and stage event of this kind in the region will toast with SKOPSKO this year too
In addition to the financial support for the organization of this year’s 40th “Galicnik Wedding”, Pivara Skopje provided the necessary amounts of SKOPSKO, which for decades has been an inseparable part of the authentic tradition that takes place in the village Galicnik.
Additionally, as part of the preparations for the unique wedding tradition, this year Pivara Skopje was the host of the bride Aleksandra Krstevska and the groom Vase Gjorgjevski.
“Being a part of the tradition and customs of the most famous wedding in Macedonia and beyond is a huge honor. For SKOPSKO it is great pride because it shows the blend of two authentic stories embedded in the rich Macedonian tradition. It was therefore quite logical to personally familiarize this year’s Galicnik bride and groom with the story of the creation of one of the most famous Macedonian brands – SKOPSKO,” said Katerina Hadzi-Angeleska – Nacevska, public relations specialist in Pivara Skopje AD.
After visiting Pivara Skopje, the special guests were awarded the medals “Ambassadors of Beer” as another detail of the unique experience that they will long remember and retell.
“We know that the beauty of Galicnik Wedding is exactly in the original customs that we need to go through along with the wedding guests and the other participants, but until now we were not aware that the creation of one of the most famous Macedonian brands is a process which incorporates a lot of knowledge, love and rich tradition. After everything we have seen and heard about SKOPSKO and beer in general, we are proud to be its ambassadors,” said the groom Vase Gjorgjevski, summarizing the common impressions of the visit to Pivara Skopje.
This year’s “Galicnik Wedding” is expected again to attract thousands of visitors from the country and abroad, who will once again witness the original wedding ceremony accompanied by traditional folk costumes, songs and dances, which fascinate with their beauty and spiritual value each year.
