THERE IS ONLY ONE GALICNIK, THERE IS ONLY ONE SKOPSKO!
This year too, 41st in a row, SKOPSKO is an inseparable part of “Galicnik Wedding” – the only cultural stage event of its kind in the country and beyond
It is well known that any celebration, especially a wedding, cannot take place without great beer. If so, then it is quite natural that this year too the participants of Galicnik Wedding, their guests and the visitors of the most famous wedding in this region will again toast with SKOPSKO.
To continue this unique tradition, this year also Pivara Skopje provided financial support for the organization of the event, as well as the necessary quantities of SKOPSKO, which is an inseparable part of Galicnik Wedding for more than four decades continuously and which is traditionally held in the village Galicnik on St. Peter’s Day (July 12 and 13).
Additionally, before departing for Galicnik and the beginning of the wedding ceremonies, grooms Ivan Sarievski and Stefan Kunovski and their beloved Ana Gareska and Margarita Ivanovska were special guests at Pivara Skopje, where they were introduced “first hand” with the creation of one of the most famous Macedonian brands – SKOPSKO – as an authentic story that lasts for 90 years.
“Tradition is a part of each of us. It defines us as people and makes us who we are. We are proud to become part of one of the most important features of the Macedonian tradition – Galicnik Wedding. At the same time, we are lucky to have authentic brands such as SKOPSKO in this country; we can say it is deservingly a part of our wealth and this is why we are its ambassadors. It gives us the right to say – There is only one Galicnik, there is only one SKOPSKO!” said groom Ivan Sarievski, otherwise grandson of the famous virtuoso of the Macedonian folk song – Aleksandar Sarievski.
While visiting Pivara Skopje, the special guests received the title “Ambassadors of beer”, which is another symbolic detail to remember the days when they became part of the unique Macedonian tradition.

This year too, the most famous Macedonian wedding in Galicnik is expected to attract thousands of visitors from the country and abroad who will again witness the original wedding ceremonies accompanied by traditional folk costumes, songs and dances that capture with their authenticity, beauty and cultural value.
