PIVARA SKOPJE HOST OF THE THIRTEENTH OKTOBERFEST
The thirteenth Oktoberfest, organized by the Macedonian – German Economic Association, was opened yesterday in a traditional way as it opens at the Oktoberfest in Munich. The first barrel with beer was hammered with a wooden hammer, and the celebration began with the saying “O’zapft is” – “The tap is open”.
The Director of the Delegation of the German Economy in the Republic of Macedonia, Patrick Martens, the Deputy Ambassador of the German Embassy in Macedonia, Otto Graf, the General Manager of Pivara Skopje, Dan Timotin and the General Manager of the Prilepska pivarnica, Saso Samardzioski traditionally opened the thirteenth Oktoberfest.

Pivara Skopje for the third time hosted this prestigious event attended by guests from the business sector, ambassadors, representatives from the media and culture.
The Oktoberfest celebration in Skopje has grown into a tradition as a significant event for the City of Skopje, important for the cooperation both economically and culturally between our country and Germany. Oktoberfest has been celebrated for 200 years in Munich and this event is attended by 6 million visitors. This year is held from September 21 to October 6.
